  • Have you got a min of 5 years' experience as a Parts Sales Executive?
  • Have you worked in a Toyota dealership for a min of 2 years
  • Have you been in your current or previous dealership for a min of 2 years?

MAIN TASKS:


  • Attend to client requirements as received per telephone and on the counter, promoting the sale of related items.
  • Any stock discrepancies encountered are to be noted in the stock adjustment book and brought to the notice of the senior parts sales person.
  • Quote clients with prices as required, recording quotes given. Prices to be given against franchise distributors current ruling price list.
  • Followup of quotations given within 14 days maximum so as to receive order for parts quoted.
  • Advice senior sales person of quotations lost and reason therefore.
  • Parts issued to be made under cover of appropriate sales document, no parts to be issued without a sales document.
  • Manual documentation to be captured as soon as possible normally the same day.
  • Emergency order requirements to be placed in accordance with the laid down policy.
  • Branch stock to be checked for nonmoving emergency requirements before placing orders or Franchise distributor
  • Refer to P&P 01
  • Parts ordered from dealers to be recorded in the dealer order book.
  • Part numbers to be checked for validity and supersession prior to advising of a no stock situation to client.
  • Parts placed on order for clients to be followedup to ensure receipt and sale. ALL NON-STOCKING
  • IEMS ORDERED, CLIENT TO BE ADVISED AT TIME OF ORDER THAT IT IS A SPECIAL ORDER AND NON Returnable AFTER 5 WORKING DAYS.
  • Clients not having credit facilities are to pay a deposit on nonstocking items prior to emergency, order being placed, this deposit to cover a minimum of costs plus VAT. Should the client require that the parts be held for a period exceeding the normal RfC window, full payment to be made prior to placing the order on the franchise distributor.
  • Any special order cancelled by a client are to be brought to the attention of the senior parts sales person, that the backorder on the distributor can be cancelled.
  • Contact a minimum of 2 clients per day per telephone, as canvassing calls.
  • Treat clients with due courtesy, efficiency and respect at all times.
  • Report to the senior sales person ALL instances of customer dissatisfaction.
  • Assist coworkers with their job functions as required. As staffing differs between branches job functions allocated to certain positions if not filled will be distributed amongst actual staff.
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping within the department, specifically within own work area.
  • Ensure neat professionally dressed, in keeping with the company image. Company uniform to be worn at all times.
  • Carry out parts stock take both full and random as per company policy.
  • Attend training courses and workrelated meetings as required by management.
  • Report to management any breach of security noted in the department.
  • Ensure all company policy and procedures are in place and carried out.
  • Ensure that no goods are released to an unknown buyer merely on such buyer having provided proof of payment, without that payment having been confirmed by a person of authority.

SPECIAL DUTIES:


  • Accompany Management on client visits (a minimum of one day per month).
  • Visit clients at least 1 afternoon per week, calling on a minimum of 2 clients.
  • Contact a minimum of 2 clients per day per telephone, as canvassing calls.
  • Assist Senior Parts Salesman with maintenance of all parts displays, these to be changed on a regular basis (minimum of every 6 weeks).
  • If so requested by Senior Sales Person and/or Dealer Principal to be responsible for all cash including outstanding cash sales followup) within the department, also the daily balancing of cash takings and payment thereof to the cashier. Cash on hand to be kept to a minimum, excess cash to be banked with the cashier during the course of the day
  • Followup on a daily basis all won outstanding orders and advise clients of any change in status or ETA.
