Social Media Assistant


We are looking for someone passionate about Social Media to join our close-knit team and become a part of delivering quality digital content to be proud of.


You will be working closely with the Social Media Co-Ordinator and Digital Manager to create engaging content for the company's social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.


Duties include but not limited to:

  • Assist with social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
  • Create dynamic graphic and video content.
  • Assist with creating content calendars and social posting schedules with best practices in mind.
  • Assist with community management.
  • Create content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence, and encourages audience participation.
  • Assists management with large projects and events.
  • Work as part of the team to develop large social media campaigns.
  • Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content.
  • Assist with PR communication.

Minimum relevant experience and skills/attributes required:

  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • A keen eye for digital content creation.
  • An interest in the skincare and beauty world.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional writing, communication and confident presentation skills.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Enjoys a fastpaced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • A degree in communication, marketing, or social media.
  • At least 1 year of experience managing social media.
  • Valid, driver's licence and own transport.
