Overview of job:

To estimate the cost of products and plan and coordinate the production process.

To expedite the production process and delivery and assist in the 4 key areas Quality, Production, Maintenance and Health and Safety.


Responsibilities:


1) Food and Health and Safety:

  • Legal liability training
  • OHS act of management.
  • OHS representative training.
  • Risk assessment training
  • OHS system implementation.
  • Food safety / FSCC Training
  • Haccp. Taccp & Vaccp study
  • GMP Study
  • R638 Training
  • Hygiene Training
  • Food safety system implementation
  • Promote and maintain awareness and compliance of health and safety in accordance with the policies of the company.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and healthy working environment is maintained.
  • Implement and ensure compliance for Health and Safety and any other statutory requirements

2) Quality Control:


  • Ensure quality of products meets standards
  • FCCS Requirements are met and maintained
  • Nonconformance paperwork are raised, actioned and processed
  • Company and clients quality standards are complied

3) Administration:


  • Evaluate Route efficiencies and courier costing.
  • Daily log sheet, deliveries, repairs, and couriers' data captured, and weekly reports submitted tracking costs and any anomalies.
  • Resolution of Customer complaints (tracked and resolved)
  • Daily customer repair communication
  • Daily and weekly meetings attented and tracked

4) Maintenance:


  • R&M Motor vehicles scheduled for service and maintenance checklists completed.
  • Generator checklist completed weekly, and services scheduled.
  • Keep maintenance records up to date and filed.

Stock take:


  • Order and manage maintenance consumables
  • Data capturing when needed
  • Technical and Productioin stock are replaced and updated (parts for maintenance)

Housekeeping:


  • Notice boards updated.
  • Company theme is posted and up in the office.
  • All check lists, inspections sheets are completed and filed accordingly, and any discrepancies are raised immediately.
  • All areas are always clean and tidy, and all tools and equipment are stored in the allocated area's
  • Office, warehouse, and vehicles.
  • Filing and filing cabinets are up to date, labelled and organized accordingly

Education & Experience requirements:


  • Certification in H&S and Food Safety required.
  • Dimploma or degree in H&S and Food Safety beneficial.
  • Minimum of 5 years OHS & Food Safety experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and data management software.
  • Experience in stock taking will be beneficial.
  • Management experience will be beneficial. Excel skills would be advantageous
  • Quality experience will be beneficial
  • Experience in maintenance advantageous

Salary:
R12, R15,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Boksburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Certificate (required)

Experience:


  • Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 3 years (preferred)
  • Health and Safety: 3 years (preferred)
Food Safety: 3 years (preferred)


License/Certification:

  • Drivers licence (preferred)
