Position Purpose:
To assess and determine compliance to procurement prescripts within the construction industry.


Key Performance Areas:

Regulatory Frameworks Adherence - Develop and implement in conjunction with the Regulatory Overseer mechanisms to communicate and promote the industry adherence to applicable laws and policies.

Compliance Improvement - Promoting and increasing transparency and accountability in construction procurement through uniform standard.
Monitor compliance - Monitor procurement in the construction industry from the tender invitations, tender awards until project completion.
Build Compliance relationship - Identify key regulatory stakeholders (incl. government departments and regulators) to build relationships with the intention to enhance stakeholder compliance.

National Diploma or equivalent at NQF Level 6 a preferred minimum education. Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma at NQF 7 or a Certificate in Compliance Management advantageous. 1 to 2 years working experience in relevant field.

Comprehensive knowledge of the CIDB Act, CID Regulations, CIDB's policies and procedures incl.

the Standard for Uniformity, Code of Conduct for parties in construction procurement, PFMA, PFMA SCM Regulations, MFMA, MFMA SCM Regulations, PPPFA and BBBEE amended Codes of Good Practice and all other applicable legislations.
