purpose:


  • Supports Information Management and Information Architecture in the development and implementation of the business Information Management Framework through managing the evolution and transition of the Records Management strategy and architecture in response to changing business requirements. To ensure that the business has cutting edge Records Management systems in place that meet the needs of overall business strategy.

experience and qualifications:


  • Minimum Qualification
  • Relevant B Com / BSc degree in Computer Science / Information Management or equivalent


  • Preferred Qualification

  • B Com/BSc Honours or MA degree in Computer Science or Information Management Recognised Information and/or Records Management certification
  • Experience 7 years' experience in Records Management within the financial industry with at least 4 years in a managerial role
    additional requirements:

responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain the overarching Records Management for the business unit
  • Establish and entrench a Records Management operating model
  • Define, agree and ensure implementation of a set of key Records Management metrics and measures for records
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions
  • Drive business profitability through Records Management recoveries
  • Draw up a budget aligned to tactical delivery plans, monitor effectiveness and report on variances
  • Manage expenditure planning and reporting within approved budget parameters
  • Compile an integrated view of the Records Management risk landscape and risk profile
