Key Requirements

  • At least 5 years' school catering management experience
  • Must be able to assist with menu development and function menus
  • Skilled and passionate about food, upmarket functions, baking and preparation of food
  • A clear understanding of the importance of HSE and implementation thereof
  • Compassionate and caring nature and the ability to relate well to children
  • A dynamic, enthusiastic, and innovative individual with strong administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work with the Head of House to ensure a home away from home
  • Management of all First Aid requirements
  • Proficient in the English language with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate with a strong understanding of costings, ordering and management of stock
  • Able to delegate and lead a team efficiently, with a good understanding of HR related matters
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Excellent organisation & time management skills
  • Positive attitude, energetic and bubbly
  • Able to work long hours, weekends, and shift work
  • Own vehicle
