  • Computer literate in Excel, Word, Micros and Opera.
  • Well presented.

  • Required to work shifts.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


Overall purpose of the Position:


The Night Auditor is responsible for reconciling daily revenue and expenses in order to ensure that guests are correctly billed and those credit card transactions are accurately recorded.

Responsible for many end-of-day tasks, including processing guest payments, balancing reports, reconciling the cash drawers at the front desk, and preparing invoices for the following day.

The Night auditor will do wake up calls, check out guests who depart early in the morning, arrange transportation, provide area recommendations, and perhaps even assist with room service orders at the beginning of breakfast service.


Duties and Responsibilities


Corresponding with the guests to ensure the bookings are made to their requirements from initial contact through to the event/booking and after ensuring guest satisfaction and professionalism throughout the process.

Creating accurate and detailed Quotes, function sheets and handovers for the departments/team members involved in facilitating the event.

Ensure all bookings are recorded, and guest information and requirements are correctly captured.

Weekly forecasts and handovers completed.

Clarifying queries that the team have prior to the events.

Complete billing and account reconciliation per event.


Follow up with the guests after they have left to build relationships with the guests to ensure guest satisfaction and return.

Ensure that movies are selected and loaded on to Dine plan.

Follow up with Chef for changes to the menus.


Printing of all signage and Menus for F&B Outlets and Site inspections, capturing of set menu orders and handing spreadsheets over to the OPS team.


Make yourself available to Meet, Greet and Seat guests during peak serving periods in operations e.g., 08h00 and 10h00.Liaise and communicate courteously with guests.
