JOB PURPOSE:

***To provide secretarial and administrative support in a well organized and timely manner to the Tax Team and Directors/Partners.

***
CORE FUNCTIONS
***- Rendering services to two Tax Directors/Partners

  • Preparing presentations and drafting of company structures for the Directors
  • Managing and reviewing filing and office systems
  • Preparing Tax invoices for clients
  • Liaising with clients with queries regarding their tax affairs and directing them to the relevant people
  • Preparing Suspension of Payments, appeals and complaints to various departments at SARS.
  • Conducting research using the Tax Acts for various Tax opinions
  • Preparing Income Tax letters
  • Preliminary drafting of correspondence on Director's behalf
  • Preparing objections, complaints and other dispute letters to SARS
  • Diary managements and timesheets
  • Organizing and finalizing logistics for conferences and meetings, including all travel bookings and catering
  • Planning and organizing meetings

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Planning and Time Management
  • Written and verbal communication
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Tact and discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a Matric certificate
  • 35 years Administration / Clerical experience
  • Tax experience is an advantage
