Bachelors Degree in Business / Commerce (Supply Chain, Internal Audit, Financial Accounting) with solid experience in a demand planning / forecasting / data analytics / reporting role and understanding of inventory management secures Supply Chain Manager position with leading distributors within the Liquor industry.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends
Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities
Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
Gather updates on suppliers, distributors, sales, and other stakeholders that can affect demand
Analyse sales, stock, and other data statistics
Use and maintain the ERP system
Ensure all relevant reports and presentations are produced weekly, monthly, and quarterly
Identify and implement supply chain cost savings opportunities
Ensure compliance with procedures
Implementing efficiencies in the supply chain
Ad hoc IT / process project management
Develop strategies to optimise stock days in the supply chain
Work closely with suppliers to effectively balance supply and demand of stock

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Internal Audit, Financial Accounting
5 to 10 years experience in a demand planning / forecasting / data analytics / reporting
ERP system experience essential
Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
Strong analytical skills
Advanced Excel skills
ERP implementation will be an advantage
Capability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
