Logistics Coordinator - Durban, South Africa

  • Provide logistic support and oversee overall logistic processes.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate logistics support operations for smooth shipping, deliveries, and collections.
  • Deal with Warehouses regarding stock levels, logistics, and work orders. Control inventory and storage space.
  • Ensure optimal storage space utilization by preventing unnecessary stock build-up.
  • Book shipments/parcels with Couriers for local deliveries. Compare prices and obtain shipping quotes.
  • Support the Financial Department with relevant documentation.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and assist shipping companies for smooth shipments.
  • Track and coordinate all shipments and orders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of four years experience as a Logistics Coordinator.
  • Strong problem-solving and data analytical skills.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other computer skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Attention to detail, articulate, and well-presented.
