Maintain Internal Audit Professional PracticesData Analytics
Analyse complex sets of data to interpret, visualise, and identify trends to inform and support the internal audit process and decision-making.
Study, analyse and understand the control environment.
Compliance
Analyse the operations governance ,financials and operational processes to check compliance with the group rules or procedures/organisation's standards operating procedures.
Review and Reporting
Provide first level review of audit work and findings.
Compile reports on audit / investigation findings and other reports on work assigned.
Follow up
Conduct the follow-up process with management to monitor implementation of remediation plans.
Benchmarking
Benchmark similar operations (Both internal and external), identify gaps and/or good practices for purposes of knowledge sharing.
Knowledge sharing
Educate key stakeholders on the contents of Group Policies and Procedures.
Share information on common findings and recommendations for improvement with SeniorManagers.
Qualifications:
BCom Degree in Accounting / BCom Degree in Quantitative Risk Management / BSc Degree in Data Science or similar
Certified Information Systems Auditor or Certified Internal Auditor is an added advantage
Experience
8 years' work experience in Internal Audit, 5 of which in an FMCG environment.
Experience in implementation and utilisation of data analytics tools.
Experience in implementation and compliance of Group / Company specific Standard Operating Procedures.
Professional Memberships/Registration (if any)
Membership with Institute of Internal Auditors, South Africa
Knowledge
Knowledge of Internal Audit/Risk Management/Compliance functions.
Understanding of various production process flows in FMCG industry.
Knowledge of local legislations within Africa - Preferred.
