Scope & General Purpose of the Job
To provide operational and administrative support to management as to meet the requirements of the commercial contract.

Responsible to:

Catering Manager

Responsible for:

Kitchen staff

In communication with:

Catering Manager. Area Manager

Education / Qualification and Experience Requirements:

Minimum Education / Qualification:

Food Service Management diploma / or equivalent

Minimum Level / Years of Experience:

3 years' experience in similar role

Key Performance Areas:

Supervision of Food Production and Service
Systems, Controls and Administration
Hygiene and food safety
Human Resources Management (Subordinates)
Client Liaison and Retention
General Assistance
Self-Management

Competencies and Skills Requirements:

Communication Skills, able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing
Financial Skills, able to grasp financial concepts & perform job related calculations to meet the requirements of the position.
Administrative Skills, able to perform administrative tasks accurately to achieve required outcomes
Planning and Organising Skills, able to plan, prioritise, schedule and organise activities and resources to meet deliverables or deadlines
People Management Skills, able to lead, motivate and encourage team members to achieve deliverables
Interpersonal Skills, able to develop effective interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Numeracy Skills, able to perform and interpret job related calculations accurately
Cooking Skills, able to produce meals across the required range of menus / alternatively able to discern required food production standards
