Description

Our client, a leading consumer product manufacturing company, seeks a well-experienced 3D Scanning Operator, to join their professional, progressive and vibrant team in Cape Town.

You must be able to work independently and accurately maintain the Product Library whilst being proactive in your approach to ensuring a complete catalogue of products for the company.

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

You will have a relevant tertiary qualification such as a Diploma in Product design or similar, coupled with 2 years' experience in 3D scanning and product cataloguing, with a passion for home design and homewares.
You will be a great team player, with experience in SolidWorks, Rhino, or Geo Magic AS WELL AS proven experience with software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and CAD
Experience with Excel is essential
You will be able to problemsolve, create catalogues, meet deadlines, and have meticulous communication skills
You must be fluent in English and Afrikaans both written and spoken
Third languages are advantageous
You will ensure that the product catalogue has had all 3D objects scanned correctly and will update all aspects including the scans, product descriptions, bill of materials, approved list of materials, and suppliers
You must have a valid driver's license, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
