PRIMARY PURPOSE

  • This position can be based in either Johannesburg or Cape Town.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong familiarity of all aspects of the WW, particularly on how it should be functioning best to support the wide variety of users and their requirements.
  • Understand new functionality and the requirements that it is addressing by discussion with users, developers, attendance of various meetings as required.
  • Create, implement and maintain a complete set / description of test scenarios to ensure that the functionality is delivering as expected.
  • Develop an understanding of the use of Itrvl and how it integrates with the Window, as you will require the ability to determine issues in Itrvl that are caused by either WW functionality behaviour (or issues), or data.
  • Assist with training in exceptional circumstances if required by the Systems Training Team.
  • Have a mindset of improving the look and feel of the WW to bring it to the next level.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Solid experience in reservations.
  • A graduate (relevant qualification from a reputable tertiary education provider, either in Travel & Tourism, commercial/financial degree or tertiary certificate).
  • Prior experience working on the Wilderness Window is a must.

Skills:


  • Analytical mind, investigatory mind, process driven and problemsolving aptitude.
  • Very good communication skills, and Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with all business functions.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership's ability.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Organised, methodical.
  • Ability to work under pressure without compromising accuracy.
  • Ability to pace oneself and prioritise demands.
  • Team worker and ability to interface with various departments.
  • Analytical and have an understanding of data.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral, in English.
