Description
Arena Broadcast has an opening for a TV Schedule Playlister to work across The Home Channel and IGNITION TV.You will also be required to assist with quality checking and channel promo strategy.
An understanding of the back-end in transmission and quality control would be advantageous and basic video editing skills also a plus.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Build daily playlists with utmost attention to detail and accuracy
Work closely with the promo department to highlight key content
Capture all relevant metadata for the various shows
Take responsibility for compiling and sending EPGs to DStv and other broadcast partners
Liaise with international content suppliers re programmes for broadcast
Assist with spot-checking quality of international and local shows
Assist with preparation of content for transmission

Required:
Tertiary qualification in the media and television field or administration and data capturing
At least two years' working experience
An excellent grasp of the English language
