Our client, a well-established and highly successful corporate commodity trading company, specializing in physical deliveries on an international basis, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced
NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR to join their IT team.


Job Summary:


Essential Job Functions:


  • Maintain and manage company computer networks.
  • Ensuring network security and availability
  • Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting network issues.
  • Configuring and maintaining virtualization technologies
  • Implementing and maintaining cloudbased networking solutions
  • Managing and maintaining local and cloudbased backups

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:


  • Qualification in computer science, computer engineering or a related field preferred.
  • A+ and N+ certification from CompTIA is essential.
  • A valid industry certification such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, and MCSE is an added advantage.
  • 3+ years experience in a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of network technologies, protocols, and security best practices
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as Wireshark, and SNMP
  • Knowledge of network operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, and Cisco IOS
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose network issues.
  • Experience with routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and experience with cloudbased networking
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
