Description

Do you want to report directly to the CFO and have a team of people to lead? This innovative group of companies is dedicated to providing the best to their customers, and are looking for a Controller who is responsible, analytical, and passionate about their work to join them.

Perform monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and year-end reporting

Provide accounting papers on significant accounting matters including IFRS commentary

Design, implement, monitor, and optimise a strong Financial Controls framework

Oversee the billing function

Ensure compliance with IFRS, group accounting policies and company control procedures

Oversee and manage standalone audits of group entities across the group

Oversee receivables positions and working capital requirements

Drive finance function automation

Oversee procurement function

Finalise monthly consolidated balance sheet

Engage with auditors

Implement Risk and Control self-assessment controls and testing process

Manage treasury activities i.e., cash management and forecasting, intercompany financing arrangements etc.

Manage and optimise the foreign exchange market exposure of the group

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 6-10 Years of post-article experience

Group reporting and consolidations experience

Excellent Excel and reporting skills

Group treasury experience advantageous

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong problem solver who can work under pressure

Qualification:

CA(SA) nonnegotiable
