Description
Plan and execute risk based audit to completion including assessment of Internal Audit controls, management reporting, value added recommendations.;

  • To plan and manage branch and departmental visits including resource management and travel arrangements;
  • Supervise and review the work of junior audit clerks;
  • Proficient and knowledgeable in internal audit standards ( IIA ) and relevant with a good understanding of finance and administration of business;
  • Ability to communicate with Senior management in the finalization of reports and assess management comments;
  • Be competent to conduct internal audit at branches and relevant departments;
  • To plan and manage branch departmental visits
  • Conduct follow up to assess management implementation of findings;
  • Time management and deadline driven to achieve monthly audit reporting
  • Ability to efficiently prepare and document audit working papers, analysis of large amount of data and comply detail reports;
  • Reports directly to the group audit manager.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant tertiary qualifications in internal auditing;
  • CIA qualification ideal, or studying towards CIA; will be given preference;
  • 3 years in a similar positions experience, FMCG preferably;
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and preferably Teammate;
  • Strong reporting and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel on out of town audits on approximately 5 days on a month;
  • Extremely high level of attention to detail and analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Relevant competency required to plan and finalize and internal audit.
