Job Advert Summary:

Responsible for New Business Development, revenue growth, managing and growing the order book and ensure client growth profitability.

  • Reporting to the CEO, the Executive for Sales and Business Development will work closely with the Executive Team, pricing team and other internal stakeholders to drive and execute the Company's Sales, Business Development and Business Intelligence strategy to advance our competitive position in the market. He will also responsible for identifying, developing and reporting market and competitor data and intelligence to support the company's growing pipeline and strategic plan.

Minimum Requirements:

Business Management Qualification, Degree or bachelor's degree or related qualification

10+ years working experience in Sales, Business Development with a track record of delivering results and business impact.

  • Prior management and staff management experience required.
  • Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of management.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to lead a team and establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and relevant stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in management
  • Project Management experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of the value chain in contract & Customer Management
Computer literate (Ms Word, Excel and system experience)

  • Advanced analytical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Experience with advanced analytic techniques and ROI measurement
  • Team spirit, excellent interpersonal skills, and a customer service orientation
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills; experience in communicating with senior stakeholders in an open, direct, and professional fashion.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment

Duties and Responsibilities:

Developing Sales and business development strategy and developing opportunity pipelines

  • Revenue growth
  • Understanding competitors, providing data to build and execute strong plans and strategy to grow into new market areas.
  • Build, grow and maintain good and solid customer relationships through contract mastery and effective customer relations
  • Customer Visits & High Level Strategic Relationship Management
  • Build and manage a competent and committed team
  • Source New Business through new clients and opportunities in the market
  • Ability to present the business value proposition by working closely with the business development team/s where necessary (required)
  • Ensure monthly/weekly/daily reports are submitted to clients (including ad hoc reporting)
  • Effectively utilise reports, manuals and agreements to identify and resolve business and customer queries as well as implement new business strategies/processes
  • Develop, Identify and prioritize opportunities for growth and improvement across the company
  • Lead deep dive analyses into critical business questions
  • Works integrally with internal and external stakeholders in the execution of strategic initiatives and new concepts to enhance the Company's performance, profitability and competitiveness.
  • Helps drive implementation of customer, business analytics data reporting matrix and operations al strategies to achieve state net profit targets
  • Partner with business stakeholders to evaluate business questions, design and implement analytical solutions that provide actionable insights on financial performance, sales leading indicators, marketing programs, customer acquisition & retention, marketing efficacy and other related topics.
  • Develop a comprehensive market and competitor intelligence tracking program that will include regular updates on competitor profiles, client profiles, new awards and other data points to support black hat reviews and other strategic planning activities
  • Manage Sales data integrity, reporting, and lead optimization projects
  • Develop and provide analytics, insights into trends and BI
  • Support reporting/ dashboarding requirements for the business, developing & reporting on metrics and KPIs
  • Use a data analytics approach to identify correlations to drive growth
  • Establish and implement a vision and strategy for gathering and managing data requirements and disseminating performance metrics & analytics for the other team
