Description

Purpose of the role:

Implementation and management of procurement duties

Responsibilities:

Quotations

Sourcing and obtaining the required number of quotations as per procurement procedures using SAP RFQ.
Price comparison or adjudication of various proposals.

Order
Daily conversion of requistions into orders and maintaining individual purchasing group.
Daily release of orders within time limits.
Creation of framework orders for repetitive purchases.

Expediting
Daily expediting of orders with various suppliers, update SAP system with correct promised delivery date and
daily handling of queries.

Cost savings
Negotiating the best deal and report on savings.

Required skills / qualifications:

Matric
Relevant business/commercial National Diploma
Experience & Knowledge
Minimum - 5 years using SAP ERP system
Experience of working closely with suppliers
Computer literate, with Intermediate Excel skills/abilities
