Description

As an Executive Search and Career Consultant specializing in the niche market of Supply Chain, I represent some of the top leaders and am called upon by blue chip organizations in the country to secure talent and assist them in building high performance teams.

One such client of mine is a Global Resourcing Company and they are looking for a Demand Planning Specialist to be based at their South African Head Office in Johannesburg.

Key Performance Areas:

Forecasting
Inventory Optimisation
Stock Modelling
Managing exceptions in demand
Guiding controller and operational teams on policies and ways of working
Assist in defining new policies and developing system solutions to optimise execution

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Commerce or Engineering, with supply chain management, logistics or industrial engineering as specialisation

Minimum Experience:

At least 6 Years' experience in a relevant role in large (Heavy Industry or Mining) environment
Demand or supply planning experience
Project management experience
