About the Commercial team


The Commercial Department at Yoco is the acquisition and revenue engine of Yoco, our team works at the intersection of where Yoco's technology meets the real world.

We are responsible for growing the Yoco brand both inside and outside our company walls.

The role will report to the Head of Marketing Operations.


About the role


As the CRO Specialist you will be responsible for analysing Yoco's website traffic and user behavior to improve website conversion rates.

The role involves developing and implementing strategies to optimize website performance, testing and analyzing various website elements such as copy, design, and user experience, and recommending improvements based on deep data analysis.

You will work alongside the Content Lead and Platform Lead within the E-commerce Team, and collaborate heavily with the Performance Marketing team to ensure maximum monetisation of - and value for - visitors on our website and ecommerce channels.


What you will be doing

  • Analyse website traffic and user behaviour to identify areas of opportunity for improving website conversion rates.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise conversion, including A/B testing, multivariate testing, and user testing.
  • Conduct research on user behaviour and preferences to inform website design and user experience.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams, including marketing, design, and development, to implement improvements.
  • Use analytics tools to track conversion rates and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports on conversion rates and make recommendations for further optimization.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in conversion rate optimization.
  • Work closely with the performance team to drive acquisition & growth
  • Work closely with the Content Lead and Product Manager (Website and Martech) to combine technical, operational and creative skills to optimise conversion

About you

  • 3+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization, website analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Experience with A/B testing and multivariate testing.
  • Knowledge of website design, user experience, and user interface best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify areas for improvement.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, sql is a strong advantage.
