Description

My client based in Benoni is currently looking for a Systems Administrator, with LINUX Experience, to employ immediately, or as soon as possible.

Must stay within the Eastrand or close by areas.

Job Summary

Configure, maintain and administer all systems related technology and infrastructure within Company Enterprise branches and multiple data centers

Requirements:

Grade 12

A+ Certificate & N+ Certificate

Linux LPIC-1

VMWare certification

MCSE
Minimum of 4 years' experience in an IT Support role in a high paced, medium to large corporate environment

Previous/recent experience as a System Administrator in a high paced, medium to large corporate environment

Practical experience with server hardware

Applied experience with Dell and HP software

Practical experience in Network Administration

Practicable experience with Infrastructure, Linux Server, Microsoft Systems

Hands on experience in Windows server , hyper v, Designing and Implementing a Server

Intense knowledge of internet protocols, services and standards.

Solid understanding of network automation, telemetry, and SDN (Software Defined Networking)

Strong understanding of physical cabling

Able to lift/carry equipment minimum of 20Kgs

Working at heights and in confined spaces

License and Own transport
