The Investment Institute will be responsible for research, portfolio construction and thought leadership aimed primarily at increasing the value proposition the distribution force takes to end clients, and as a secondary objective to produce content to clients to increase the business profile in the investment space.


Are you someone who can:

  • Set priorities to shape and structure the future of the institute by providing a framework for long term initiatives and milestones to be achieved
  • Design and implement new or cuttingedge solutions and processes and initiate innovations and changes aligned to investment institute strategy to increase profile as an investment destination
  • Execute relevant business initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress
  • Develop an operational plan which incorporates goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction of the Institute
  • Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions
  • Oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of the institute's programs and services
  • Plan for valueadded process improvements and initiatives
  • Provide investment research guidance, strategy, portfolio solutions and thought leadership
  • Set priorities to shape and structure the future of the institute by providing a framework for long term initiatives and milestones to be achieved
  • Oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of the institute's programs and services
  • Represent the Institute at forums and events where needed, to initiate, develop and manage strategic relationships with outside organisations as appropriate
  • Work closely with the research and insight team. Use insights and knowledge gained from high level research reports to influence direction of the business unit to ensure organisation performance against longterm strategy and make necessary adjustments

We can be a match if you:

  • Have CFP and a Finance related Degree
  • Work with the marketing to develop a communications plan which includes guidance on how information will be disseminated across partners/stakeholders
  • Develop, encourage, and nurture collaborative relationships within FNB and/or across the FRG
  • Provide input into, and implement, corporate governance, compliance, integrity, and ethics policies in are of accountability to identify and manage risk exposure
