As a Reconciliations Specialist you will play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial reconciliation processes and be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to management.

This role will require strong problem-solving skills, the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and a proactive approach to addressing reconciliation discrepancies.

The Reconciliations Specialist will also have the opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives, streamline reconciliation workflows, and optimize the use of the Microgen Interlink system to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Please note this is a 6 to 8 month contract.


Responsibilities:


  • Monitoring daily pricing outputs for Fund of Fund Products
  • Review existing daily Asset vs Liability reconciliations
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies quickly and efficiently
  • Engage on and work to closure of any identified reconciliation items
  • Prepare daily reconciliations progress report
  • Work with existing Interlink Pricing Team on all of the above
  • Attend weekly reconciliation progress meeting to review all outstanding items
  • Assist in the managing of the Outsource Project for Interlink Pricing

Minimum requirements:


  • BCom Accounting / BCom Finance
  • CA(SA) advantageous
  • Microgen Interlink system experience (35 years')

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Analytical and critical thinking
  • Ability to work in complex and high pressure environment
