Kendrick Recruitment is looking for an Assistant Lodge Management Couple for a Luxury Safari Lodge
We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic couple to fill the position of Assistant Lodge Management at a luxury safari lodge based in the Madikwe, North West.
Responsibilities:
As the Assistant Lodge Management Couple, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our luxury safari lodge.
You will work closely with the Lodge Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold the lodge's reputation for excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring exceptional customer service throughout their stay
- Overseeing the food and beverage operations of the lodge, ensuring efficient and quality service is provided to guests.
- Coordinate meal service, ensuring highquality food and beverage offerings are provided.
- Cater to dietary restrictions and preferences, and oversee special dining experiences like bush dinners or picnics.
- Ensuring that the lodge's standard operating procedures are consistently maintained at the highest level to deliver a consistent guest experience.
- Managing guest relations and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction in all dining venues.
- Lead guests on game drives, walks, and other safari activities.
- Supervise and perform regular maintenance tasks to keep the lodge and surrounding area in top condition.
- Foster a warm and hospitable environment, engaging with guests to create memorable experiences.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
- Min. 3+ years' experience in a management role in a 5 star safari lodge environment
- Min. FGASA Level 1 Full Trails Guide one of the couple
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work hands on and seamlessly with a small team
- Flexible and adaptable work ethic
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Sincere passion for carrying exceptional guest experiences
- Keen eye for detail
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient in using property management systems and other relevant software
- Sound knowledge of stock control, financial management and general administration
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Maintain consistent high standards of quality of service
- Strong in general maintenance and able to lead the maintenance team when not driving
- Charismatic personalities "outside of the box thinkers"
- Neat and presentable
Package:
- Salary R R22 000 per person, Live in
