ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:


  • JavaScript & JavaScript Logging packages
  • Node.
JS

  • API Development, Calling and creating REST services, RESTful APIs, Postman / SoapUI
  • Microservice Architecture & Objectoriented design
  • Technical requirements i.e. Java 11, 2EE, Junit, SQL Queries and optimisation,
  • HTTP Authentication, and Encryption with SSL & HTTP Session management and persistence

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:


  • AWS cloud services and Serverless development technologies (highly advantageous)
  • Docker (highly advantageous)
  • Kubernetes (advantageous)
  • JSON and XML with Schema (advantageous)
  • Content Management Platforms (Headless CMS)
  • Frontend development technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Angular (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of other programming languages and tools (advantageous)
  • Web and digital project experience advantageous
  • Agile working experience advantageous

WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?

  • IT
Degree with at least 8+ years hands-on experience


WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES?

  • System reporting and dashboards
  • Environment configuration and management
  • Application configuration
  • System deployment and upgrade
  • Support infrastructure rolloutPerform Code & Peer Reviews.
  • Perform demos of user stories in Agile ceremonies.
  • Analyse and fix Production Known Errors.
  • System testing/parallel runs.
  • Prepare Production deployment artefacts.
  • Prepare Production deployment plan documents.
  • Preparation of system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards).
  • Preparation/Updating of user and operation manuals.
  • System implementation / deployment & release activities.
  • Production support & hypercare after production deployments.
  • Working with Git with Bitbucket, Code versioning (Git)
  • CI/CD
  • AWS Code Pipelines
  • Standby & Support
  • Debugging remote services
