Job Summary:

To plan, organise and execute all Therapeutic Services work.

The incumbent is accountable for the day-to-day and resources (financial and human capital) management of the department in accordance with health, quality and clinical standards and legislation.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Grade 12 or similar level of education.
Masters degree in Psychology.
Relevant Clinical Degree.
Registered with Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
35 years' appropriate experience working in a Wellness Facility.
Knowledge and experience of implementing a Therapeutic Wellness Program.
Private healthcare experience is advantageous.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Establish and Manage the Therapy department.
Facilitate group psychotherapy sessions and provide psychoeducation.
Provide guidance on criteria to influence effective Therapeutic Services and review regularly.
Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive effective service delivery.
Ensure patient care delivery is allocated to duly licenced and accredited individuals.
Manage the financial integrity of area of responsibility.
Manage reporting, risk and governance for Therapeutic Services.
Assist with the coordination of the drivers allocated to the hospital.
