Synopsis

My client is seeking a National Business Manager
(Must have BPO experience) to become a Trusted Advisor to C-suite potential client/strategic alliances in driving sales and generating revenue by acquiring new clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients and extensive networking as per the BPO sector Strategy with a variety of stakeholders.

For this role you must be
Cape Town, Johannesburg
or Durban based. However,
one must be willing to travel in between the three cities.



Job Description Your expertise in the BPO sales, strategic planning, and client engagement will be crucial in expanding our market presence and achieving revenue goals**:

  • The National Business Manager will drive the execution of company growth goals, aligned to the growth strategy. Creative and innovative alignment to "solution selling", inclusive of all service lines of the Services Portfolio.
  • Targeted sector(s) / market specific focus as per industry and client segmentation.
  • Use market insights to assist the leadership team in creating new staffing and training solutions.
  • Represent the company as Global Investors consider South Africa as an offshore destination.
  • Be a Guest Speaker/panelist on various sector initiatives.
  • Potentially travel overseas to be part of the team promoting South Africa.

Qualification and Experience

  • Degree or Diploma (highly advantages) Business & Management studies
  • A minimum of 5 to 6 years relevant sales and networking experience
  • Open doors for the company Business Development Manager to assist in concluding deals
  • Solid exposure to the BPO Sector directly or indirectly
  • Proven ability to deliver on set targets and deliverables.
  • Solid successful experience in BusinesstoBusiness sales
  • Marketing experience advantageous

Roles and Responsibilities Sales and client activity**:

  • Strong decision-making ability
  • Independent worker who thinks on their feet
  • Proactively identify and engage with potential clients through various channels
  • Strong ability to rapidly open potential client doors and secure meetings
  • Develop, cost and conduct customized and effective presentations
  • Initiate Pricing negotiations and design new costing models with the Finance Team and Managing Executive
  • Proven closing techniques and end to end experience of the contracting process
  • Have and increase a deep understanding of the BPO services offered by the company, including call centre solutions, customer support, technical support, nonvoice/chat support, backoffice operations, and other relevant services
  • Articulate the value proposition of these services to the right clients
  • Business Agility, if one sector isn't succeeding consider additional sectors through research and internal support.

Sales Reporting:


  • Track sales activities, prepare accurate reports, and provide regular updates on sales performance, pipeline, and forecast to the Managing Executive of.
  • Use the Salesforce CRM system to manage customer interactions and sales data.

Market Research:


  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions in the BPO and other agreed sectors.
  • Analyse market data to identify potential leads and opportunities for business growth.

Collaborative Approach:


  • Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, finance, legal operations, and senior management to align sales strategies and ensure successful client on boarding.
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure delivery excellence.

Targets and Metrics:


  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs, such as revenue quotas, client acquisition numbers, and client retention rates consistently.

Continuous Learning:


  • Stay updated with Global Staffing industry knowledge, Global Business Services sector and innovative sales techniques.
  • Attend/host workshops, seminars, and sectorspecific opportunities.
