Description

STOCKROOM MANAGER
Preparation and monitoring of Stockroom budget, control costs, examine variances and taking appropriate action to correct budget variances.

Develop safety risk assessments for Stock and maintain adequate security at all times.

Control stock loses and discrepancies through effective inventory management.

Develop & maintain purchasing control policies and procedures.

Negotiate favourable prices for the company & establish pricing policies for the company.

Plan and execute AQUATECH & DRAINMEN monthly Stock, Tool, PPE and First Aid checks.

Management of condition of tools, purchasing, engraving, distribution etc.

Recouping replacement cost of tools / repairs from the necessary staff.

Order Stocks for all companies - Ensuring that the Company obtains the best prices from Suppliers on an ongoing basis.

Administer Pastel / Jobsys for the Stores departments.

To allocate stores used stock to Jobs on Pastel / Jobsys.

Process all Purchase orders on Pastel.

Attend to & Resolve Pastel / Jobsys Stock related Queries for all companies.

Preparing work requests for repair of stores-related equipment and executing.

Ensure that stores policies and procedure are adequately enforced.

Issuing of all Stock

Standby duties for Stores.

To enforce any procedures as assigned by Management.

To ensure that stores is neat, tidy and orderly on a daily basis.

Ensuring overall Management and Oversight for any stores related matters and issues.

To ensure that stores operations continue accordingly despite any changers of any nature.

To manage old stock to avoid unnecessary spending.

To manage Rubble Bins and delegate where necessary to ensure it is kept at a manageable level.

Manage the scrap metal coming in from teams to ensure that if they are re-routing pipework, they are bringing the scrap metal in.

Delegate and arrange for the scrap metal to be taken in and sold for the company.

Salary:
R10, R15,000.00 per month
