Description

a. Contributing to the development of the technical strategy and plans which contribute to the overall business objectives.

b. Managing and efficient supervision of the technical department c. Managing, maintaining and exceeding drawing register due dates

d. Attending to technical sales enquiries

e. Site visits, final inspections for Saflok guarantee occupational certificate inspections trouble shooting inspections

f. Attending to in-house measurement requests

g. Providing an effective technical service to the external marketing arm

h. Managing & controlling the progress of drawing enquiries through to a successful generation of roofing layouts as required.

i. Providing assistance to sales and production departments in respect of all technical areas

j. Gathering and sharing of market intelligence with all stakeholders

k. Communicating and assistance in resolving customer complaints

l. Administering of technical training and advice to all stakeholders

m. Attendance in and participation of stock takes, conference attendance and training sessions

n. Any other duties and tasks as assigned by management from time to time

Minimum academic qualification:
Matric & Draughting certification

Qualifications as an added advantage:
Degree level qualification in relevant technical discipline
