Our client has an opportunity available for a Maintenance Assistant based in Rosslyn.Requirements:
- Matric or an equivalent qualification.
- Tertiary education in Millwright or Electrical.
- 2+ years' experience in a related experience.
- Willing to work overtime.
- Own transport.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining all production machine and equipment in a plastic Injection Moulding Plant and Utilities Plant.
- Assist the maintenance technician in inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to eliminate or reduce breakdowns.
- Assist the maintenance technician in adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts.
- Participate in the PM program on all equipment for the continuous improvement of all machines.
- Ensure effective cost control.
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machines.
- Adhere to workplace policies, regulations and compliances.
- Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
