Product Head: Client Solutions - Johannesburg, South Africa - Nedbank
Description
Job Purpose
- Proactive collaboration, client analysis and seeding to deliver on solutioning across product to create successful proposals through RFPs and unsolicited bids. Accountable for growing the TS pitchbook and creating consolidated visibility of client activity across product, TS and CIB.
Responsibilities:
Function specific:
To build and maintain strategic RFP frameworks, pipelines and templates.
- To drive business visibility into big deals and upcoming opportunities to ensure TS and CIB are ready to participate in RFPs and unsolicited bids.
- Development of sector CVP strategies utilising product and client CVPs.
- Client solutioning for bespoke problem statements that require product input and prioritisation from outside of TS.
Financial:
Ensure pre-tender work is driven to reduce the Q0 gap via sectorised strategies
- Ensure lead generation for targeted clients Pipeline management, client acquisition and retention.
- Drive client CVP reviews to provide client cross sell/up sell deal development and opportunities per sector.
- Ensure client solution structuring is consolidated and analysed to grow client profitability (client pricing and costs data).
Customer:
Strategic client activity tracking and sector penetration to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop a pitch pipeline for proactive unsolicited bids.
- Drive continuous client engagements to develop, maintain and harness client relationships.
- Drive client deal / RFP tender document development, structuring and consolidation.
Client Value Proposition:
Ownership of and ensure availability of templates and sector specific client CVP solution designs and strategic direction.
- Stakeholder Management:
- External & Internal stakeholder engagements across clusters for successful execution in delivery through Nedbank and external vendors.
- Collaboration with stakeholders for commercialisation, compliance, people, tech, support, operationalisation, servicing, data analysis and client sales opportunities.
Industry / Sector:
Identify sector trends and CVPs for input into product / channel development and enhancements.
- Risk, Internal Audit & Compliance:
- Prevent loss and risk, enforce internal controls and ensure staff adherence through the implementation of effective management processes.
- Ensure accountability and understanding of the implications, possible requirements and opportunities whilst ensuring compliance.
People:
Lead the team effectively and efficiently across the HR value chain including recruitment, performance management, retention of critical staff, succession planning, development skills, coaching and talent management.
- Improve personal capability and stay abreast of developments in field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression opportunities for self with input from management.
- Essential Qualifications
- NQF Level
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Professional Qualifications/Honour's Degree
