Description

We are looking for a creative and energetic Restaurant Manager to take charge of the operation of our hotel restaurant in Cape Town CBD.

Reporting to the HotelGeneralManager, the Restaurant Manager plans and supervises all the activities in the restaurant and bar. He/she ensures the service runs smoothly and that the quantitative and qualitative goals of the department are met. The Restaurant Manager generates catering revenue for the hotel through sales actions and by managing his/her team.

This Position is for you IF:

You have proven track record as a Restaurant Manager for the last 2 -5 years
You are highly detailed oriented
You are able to multitask, managing multiple projects simultaneously
You can wok independently, as well as part of a team
You are comfortable with Micros as well all Microsoft Office Packages
You enjoy providing high level of service for guests and building a relationship with them to encourage return business
You are organised and adhere to the internal procedures and spirit of the ONOMO essentials
You have a firm understanding of the financial and administrative duties of running a Restaurant & Bar
You can lead and inspire your Restaurant Team to push the envelope in terms of offerings
You can push and drive sales targets for the Restaurant
You have a clear understanding of Health and Safety, Security and Environmental responsibility the Restaurant has.
