Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Third Line Cyber Security Consultant to join our team. You will play a critical role in securing our client's information systems, networks, and data assets. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced security measures to protect against cyber threats and attacks.

This is a challenging position that requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of cyber security principles and technologies.

Responsibilities:

Conduct a comprehensive assessment of current cybersecurity capabilities, including systems, processes, and policies;
Development of a 3year Cybersecurity Strategy.
Assess and determine the critical assets, data, and systems that need protection, and potential risks and threats that could affect these assets,

- such as unauthorized access, data breaches,malware attacks, or insider threats.

Review and align ICT security policies and standard operating procedures;
Develop a comprehensive incident response plan that outlines the steps to be taken in the event of a cybersecurity incident or breach; and network infrastructure.
Recommend technical security controls to protect RSR's systems and data, such as amongst others, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, encryption, antivirus software, and vulnerability management tools.
Recommend physical security measures to protect physical assets, such as servers, data centers,
Development and review of business and system requirements documents;
Development of solution architecture documents;
Optimisation of cloud usage and resources;
Analysis of ICT infrastructure and implemented cybersecurity controls;
Technical project management services;
Database and Datawarehouse design and implementation services.
Business (BI) Intelligence services.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
Proven experience (+8 years) working as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar role, with a focus on incident response, security infrastructure design, and vulnerability management.
Proficiency in using security tools and technologies, such as vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools, and log analysis tools

Cyber Security Engineer: 8 years (required)

License/Certification:
