Description

Optimi College is currently seeking an Academic Specialist to join their team. This individual should be detail-oriented, meticulous, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. They should have excellent communication skills and be able to engage with stakeholders effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree relevant to the position.
A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
High proficiency in English, both verbal and written communication.
Education sector experience, including registration/accreditation processes with DHET, QCTO, Seta's and CHE. (Specifically, TVET, FET, College, and University level).
Must be SACE registered.

DUTIES

Liaise with national QA councils and regulatory bodies, responding to requests for information on QA at Optimi College.
Provide guidance and support in terms of QCs, SETA and QAP programme approval requirements.
Develop, implement, and document quality assurance initiatives for the College division.
Act as a point of contact for questions and requests for advice about regulatory requirements and internal Quality Assurance issues.
Advise on new qualifications development.
Action feedback from regulatory bodies and councils.
Gather information, compilations and submissions of QAP, SETAs and regulatory body monitoring reports and surveys.

Salary:
From R28,000.00 per month
