REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 1
  • Matric/NDip/ Degree in Management/Supply Chain Management
  • Good work ethics
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Willing to work after hours if necessary.
  • 3 years' proven working experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Ms Outlook and MS Word

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

To perform the following tasks:

  • Manage and supervise the warehouse team.
  • Oversee the receiving and dispatching of stock (physically and capturing on the system)
  • Arrange storage space for all incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Inform sales rep/s and management of any shortages /damaged stock received
  • Prepare all documentation for orders to be checked and dispatched.
  • Ensure that all orders received are completed.
  • Ensure that stock is labelled and stored in the correct area.
  • Conduct Quality checks.
  • Packaging stock as per client's specifications
  • Ensure that stock orders are loaded with relevant couriers.
  • Investigating of stock (shortage, wrong stock sent to client etc.)
  • Ensure that stock order commitments are met.
  • Assist with logistics planning.
  • Processing of customs swops
  • Warehouse housekeeping duties
  • Training, coaching and motivating employees.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure that work sheets are completed daily.
  • Submit daily delivery schedule report.
  • Ensuring adherence to OHS and SHE regulations.
  • Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures and company policies are followed and communicated at all times.
  • Ensure that you have a thorough knowledge of Company policies and procedures and suggest improvements where applicable.

Salary:
R10, R12,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Warehouse Management: 5 years (required)
