Description
Assemble sub-assemblies of machines into a working unit- Move any piece of equipment into or out of a working position at various sites
- Perform inspections on newly assembled machine to ensure that it operates properly on start up
- Perform various test; stalltest, output feed size gradations, lubrication feed rate measurements, temperature monitoring, current overload readings, etc
- Troubleshooting and problem solving to identify root cause of problems with equipment
- Provide training and or instruction to the customer's workforce on how to perform maintenance tasks in a safe effective manner
- Perform physical activities ie; making use of heavy tooling
- Moving large or bulky parts manually
- Working at heights or in confined spaces
- Working in extreme weather conditions
- Working long shifts
Perform work including the removal and replacement of:
- Sizer and Feeder shafts
- Wear component
- Bearings
- Fluid Coupling
- Gears and seals
- Electromechanical and hydraulic drives
