Description
Ensure that sufficient drivers are planned and allocated to meet the scheduled demand.- The creation of orders to be uploaded onto TMS.
- Assignment of orders to vehicles and drivers
- Fuel Management
- Creating and releasing refuel orders. Monitoring depots for stock availability and pricing
- Overall supervision of drivers and compliance to meet operational goals
- Oversee all technology platforms such as, TMS, iCam tracking and video monitoring and communication with drivers.
- Do a thorough hand over to the incoming shift for continuity of the operations
- Track and manage all exceptions where demands are not met and manage the customer expectations
- Manage customer expectations and service delivery compliance
- Deal with all exceptions with customers and escalate if necessary to achieve continuous improvement
- Ensure customer orders are collated and uploaded to TMS
- Ensure all orders are accounted for on the schedule and are reconciled with the orders,
- Keep the customer load and turn around times schedule updated after loads are completed
- Update the schedule board in the Control Tower in accordance with the fleet and delivery schedule
