Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have completed a CA (SA) qualification
Minimum 5 years experience in a Financial Manager role is essential
Must have good knowledge of financial controls, budgeting processes and business performance reporting, ideally in a corporate environment
Sales or Commercial experience or a commercial acumen will be an added advantage
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with working knowledge of SAGE Evolutions and Power BI
A good understanding of inventory costing and management will be required and experience in foreign currency revenue or exports will be beneficial
Analysing monthend results for accuracy and completeness.
Compiling monthly internal reporting packs.
Conducting comprehensive variances analysis and providing commentary.
Actively participating in monthly forecasting.
Managing overall group budget.
Creating board packs for quarterly board meetings.
Preparing audit and risk committee packs for biannual meetings.
Compiling board finance packs for monthly board finance meetings.
Performing quarterly consolidation for holding companies.
Ensuring quarterly covenant compliance for companies.
Processing yearend adjustments to comply with reporting standards.
Preparing annual financial statements for individual and consolidated companies.
Managing administration and logistics for required meetings.
Providing financial support to the USA office.
Consolidating group financials.
Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
Reviewing accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliations monthly.
Reviewing payroll reconciliations monthly.
Ensuring compliance with monthly tax and statutory deadlines.
Managing risk, including risk analysis, reporting, and developing controls.
