Senior Director, Key Account Management
Primary Purpose of Role:
Providing research, data analysis and an administrative function to the commercial team.
Primary Objectives:
- Conducting market analysis of various aspects of the rail transportation industry in Southern Africa
- Value chain mapping of the rail transportation industry
- Researching and reporting on SA's 3rd party access to the rail network and the North-South Corridor program by the Southern African Rail Association (SARA)
- Data analysis on procurement patterns on rolling stock maintenance by existing customers
- Preparation of proposals in response to adhoc requests for quotations (outside of core Equipment and Freight Services businesses)
- Preparation and review of presentations and reports
- Participation at industry events (conferences/exhibitions)
- Industrial Engineering Degree
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows
- Proficiency in English
- Wellorganized and responsible with an aptitude in problemsolving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A team player with high level of dedication
- Customer Service orientated
- High standard of numeracy, accuracy with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, cooperatively as part of a team
- A team player with flexible approach and a willingness to learn
- A selfstarter who is proactive and can set and achieve goals
- Ability to recognize potential risks to the firm that should be escalated
