Electronic Security Technician - Nelspruit, South Africa - Ann Swann Personnel
Description
Responsibilities:
- Attending to the installation, programming, fault finding, commissioning, handover and maintenance of electronic security and life safety systems at ONE specific site in Nelspruit.
- Site Schematics and as built drawings update.
- Managing installation teams to ensure manufacturer and company installation standards are adhered to.
- Willing to work weekends, after hours and willing to travel.
- Reporting to management on the progress and overall status of projects and maintenance activities.
- Inspect sites and liaise with customers on requirements and expectations.
Qualifications, Key Competencies and Generic Skills:
- Valid drivers license.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the electronic security and life safety industry, specifically:
- Access control, IP CCTV, Smoke detection, Intruder alarms, PA / Evacuation, Structured cabling,
- IT and Networking
- Experience with the following product sets is required:
- Salto
- Technoswitch
- Paradox
- PSIRA Registered
- Compulsory
- SAQCC Registered Beneficial.
- Teamwork and planning
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines.
- Focus and complete assigned tasks on time and prioritise when given multiple tasks.
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written communications.
