SALES MANAGER - JOHANNESBURG - Rneg
We are currently recruiting for a SALES MANAGER to be based in Johannesburg for a National Catering Equipment Supply company to manage the Johannesburg Sales Department
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Building and leading a team of salespeople to help drive revenue.
- Motivate the sales team to generate leads, build client relationships, set targets to hit or exceed revenue forecasts, and ultimately meet customer needs.
- Maintaining and develop new and existing customers.
- Gathering international market intelligence to identify and secure suitable business opportunities.
- Identifying the most effective route to market for the company's product and services
- Building strategic partnerships with suitable inmarket organisations
- Conduct live demo's on equipment, attend trade shows and exhibitions
- Ensure that all sales and marketing activities are carried out within the agreed budgets, volume, sales, and within the given time scales
- Manage existing Sales Team.
- Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence.
- Managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales consultants.
- Build and promote strong, longlasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong business development skills
- Excellent presentation skills as negotiations will be required at senior level both internally and externally.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Must be able to travel.
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
