The Sub-Editorial department ensures the quality and accuracy of BMI's vast portfolio of macroeconomic, political risk and industry research content._

The Pretoriabased Sub-Editorial team is highperforming, socially conscious and highly engaged with colleagues across the world.

We'll Count on You To:

Proofread political, economic and industryspecific content. Check copy for consistency, style, figures, libel & copyright infringement, grammar and punctuation.
Communicate closely with the wider Research, Sub-Editorial and Production teams to ensure timely publication of content.
Manage high daily and weekly workloads.
Contribute to subeditorial process improvements.

What You Need to Have:

Degree in an English languageoriented or adjacent field.
Experience of editing/proofreading in an Englishlanguage environment.
Excellent written English, grammar and proofreading skills, besides meticulous attention to detail.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and an ability to grasp new technologies/systems quickly.
