Facility Level
- Member of the HSS roving team
- Undertake the readiness assessment
- Disseminate and train facility managers on the policies, frameworks, standard operating procedures, and toolkits to guide the integration implementation
- Address the clinical integration requirements, including ensuring the identification and uptake of vaccinations among highrisk individuals
- Assess the HRH capacity
- Support with the management of the patient flow
- Implementing change management strategies
District/Sub-district
- Ongoing engagements with district and subdistrict to report on progress and challenges
- Support teams using agreed quality improvement approaches in improving clinical performance.
- Implement aligned tools to support the programme.
- Conduct job mentoringprofessional nurses.
- Participate in implementing and analysis of bottlenecks early for all prevention activities.
- Provide technical assistance to the professional nurses during the COVID19 vaccination procedure.
- Support and work with other trainers.
- Capacitate stake holders in community focussed activities.
- Ensure Quality Assurance and Infection Prevention and Control in all facilities.
- Ensure good waste segregation and disposal practices in all facilities.
- Mentor professional nurses in provision of high quality COVID19 Practices.
- Assist facility staff in development of Quality Improvement Plans.
- Compile assessment reports and send to facilities within agreed time.
Required Minimum Qualifications & Experience
A Diploma in Nursing.
2 years as a Registered Nurse in NGO\Community Clinic or a Hospital Environment.
Experience as a nurse and vaccinator in the COVID-19 vaccination programme.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
Quality Improvement Training
3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse
COVID-19 vaccination experience in Gauteng.
Prior experience in training clinical staff.
Extensive Knowledge of community structures and local government.
Experience in facilitating and coordinating
implementation of health-related programmes and projects.
Experience in working with communities
