Description

A large 4-star hotel seeks an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join their team.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITES
Identifying and developing new business opportunities

Contract all local and international Operators, TMC's and Corporate clients

Complete and submit all RFPs on Nexus

Load corporate, Government TMC rates on SynXis

Online product training and webinars for Tour Operators and Agents

Communicate, arrange, and host site inspections

Manage social media pages, create social media calendars, source images and content

Collateral:
Assist with the content, images, and check all correct before final sign off for designer

Develop and establish new partners

Focus on nurturing the client base with emphasis on targeting new business relationships

Communicate and review client (database) requirements and expectations and communicate to reservations and operations of hotel (where needed)

To develop future and repeat business contributing to the profitability of the Hotel

To deliver the brand standards of outstanding customer service whilst ensuring a clear and effective line of communication is maintained

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and EXPERTISE

At least 5 years' experience in coordinating Sales and Marketing activities and working under Sales and Marketing direction

Preferably holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Travel and Tourism

The jobholder must be commercially driven and have a good knowledge of sales and business development activities.

Experience must have been gained in a sales and marketing environment where business management, and customer loyalty insights have been demonstrated.

Good negotiation and personal skills, augmented by pleasant and cheerful, but firm personality

Maturity, good leadership skills, innovation, resourcefulness, and creativity are important requirements
