We are currently recruiting for a
Logistics Manager for a
Manufacturing concern based within Cape Town surrounds.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Full warehouse function receiving, inventory control and dispatching
  • Manage warehouse team and in so doing provide leadership and direction to ensure a consistent high level of service and quality for customers
  • Problem solving on all shipment related issues
  • Receiving and booking of inventory
  • Inventory management finished goods and raw materials
  • Supplier and vendor management and relationship building
  • Transport coordination i.e., route planning
  • Oversee and manage customer invoicing
  • Delivery scheduling and mandates
  • Maintain relevant documentation i.e., receiving, shipping handling, distribution and storage of all goods that come in and out of the warehouse
  • Reporting i.e., stock variances
  • Manage inventory requisitions and issues
  • Warehouse house keeping
  • Ensure proper maintenance of the warehouse facility and operational readiness of all warehouse equipment

REQUIREMENTS

  • Customs clearance experience and basic knowledge of customs process on import and export
  • Experience on managing all freights (sea/air/road)
  • Own reliable transport
  • Knowledge on SAP (Advantageous)
  • Computer literate

Salary:
R1.00 - R2.00 per month
