Duties/Pligte- Providing administrative support to the principal investigator and project manager of a multi-site clinical trial, as well as planning and scheduling of the project


manager's electronic diary;Handling transport and accommodation reservations;- Handling correspondence and general telephonic and electronic enquires;- Organising internal and external meetings, compiling agendas, taking minutes during internal meetings and the processing thereof;- Compiling and editing correspondence, reports and other forms of communication;- Maintaining an effective filing system (electronic and hard copy) and keeping all filing up to date;- Performing routine administrative tasks;- Leave administration and providing administrative support to clinical trial personnel;- Providing research data capturing support;- Providing administrative support with regard to finance administration and reporting;- Updating and reconciliation of specific funds, as well as procurement and donations;- Ordering stationery and office equipment and certification and in-transit registration of assets, as well as handling all payment requests;- Asset management.


Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes- Grade 12;- A relevant post school secretarial or office administration qualification or at least 2 years' relevant experience in support of the above-mentioned functions;- Basic arithmetic skills; Strong interpersonal and communication skills;- Customer centred approach and the ability to take initiative and work independently;- Effective planning, organizing and prioritising;- The ability to function accurately and effectively under pressure;- Attention to detail.

Recommendation/Aanbeveling- Relevant experience in a higher education environment;- Experience in the management of financial transactions and administration.
