Regional Warehouse Coordinator - Centurion, South Africa - Helderberg Personnel

A well-established client based in Gauteng - Centurion is seeking to employ a Regional Warehouse Coordinator who will be responsible and accountable for the efficient and effective coordination of Warehouse and Logistics Function within the company.
Encompassing the control of Finished Goods Warehouses and Dispatch of goods/products to customers.dispatch coordinator|warehouse clerk|warehouse coordinator
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Manage daily functioning of the Dispatch Department by ensuring the correct operation of systems
- Implement and maintain system and procedures
- Physical control of goods/products stored in the Finished Goods Warehouses at the Gauteng branch
- Ensuring that only goods/products Invoiced to the customers are packed and dispatched
- Ensuring delivery fees are invoiced before any goods are dispatched
- Monitor product quantities in Finished Goods Warehouses in conjunction with Sales and Planning departments
- Overseeing loading and offloading of transporters and courier vehicles and ensuring that Health and Safety regulations are complied with
- Calculate and control load weight with transporter to ensure that load will pass any weighbridge test and no penalties paid
- Control and manage periodic stock counts
- Ensure company stock count procedures are followed.
- Daily warehouse stock availability reports generated from Zoho
- Orders Received against Open Sales Orders and distributed to Sales Executive
- Open Sales Order report reviewed (provided by Sales Department), confirming orders for which stock has not been allocated and generating Job Cards for New Sales Orders
- Tracking and updating of battery serial numbers on ZOHO Books
- Daily, weekly, and monthly reports checked and signed off
- Manage Logistics Staff, Assistant and Co-Ordinator
- Reporting weekly on transfer volume to Cape town and dispatch volumes to customers from Gauteng & other regions including errors
Skills and knowledge required:
- Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management
- Computer literate
- Excel Advance
- ERP systems management
- Attention to detail and analytical
- Administrative and accurate record keeping
- Assertive
- Time management and deadline driven
- Problem solving and decisionmaking skills
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
Requirements include:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain, warehousing
- 3+ years' experience in relevant position
