Our client based in Durban imports leading edge IT components, systems accessories and much more. They distribute their product range through a national network of Authorised Dealers, Retailers, E-tailers, System Integrators and Solution providers. This is easily achieved with our client having 7 stocked National Branches across South Africa for customer convenience.


Job Purpose:

Branch Manager - To Grow Customer Base and increase sales with existing customers.

This role is to go out and see clients and develop relationships with dealers, Mass retailers, registered dealers, dealer centric.

You would need to understand the industry with regards to risks, targets, security, staff etc. Understand I.T components hardware and software.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets

Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation

Generate leads and cold call prospective customers

Meet with customers/clients face-to-face or over the phone

Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients

Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these needs

Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business

Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning to implement operational changes

Draw up client contracts or agreements

Liaise with the warehousing and logistics departments as appropriate

Keep abreast of trends and changes in the IT environment

Create a sales pipeline

Increase sales of the business

Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to management

Develop the business sales and marketing strategy


Requirements:

Grade 12

4 to 5 years experience in Sales of hardware and software I.T devices, as well as experience in closing deals with Mass retailers, Registered dealers

Valid Driver's License

Preference will be given to applicants who have a knowledge in the I.T sector

Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them

Business-to-business (B2B) sales experience essential

Comfortable engaging with customers and closing deals

Must have a great EQ - fun bubbly personality wanting to learn and interact

Salary:

R20 000 basic with incentives

3-month probation period applies


Working hours:

Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm (additional hours may be required operationally)
